Projects / Panelki Land (2014-2015)
Panelki Land is a photographic study of spaces, people and events visually placed in the context of the former communist regime and the ongoing over 25-year battle for authentic democracy and a true civil society in Bulgaria. Something's gone, something's wrong, something's on the horizon. Or is it?

"...I find it astonishing and inexplicable how desperately slowly the country is changing for the last 25 years, and I do not even mean architecture and infrastructure, the panels are just a symbol.
The lack of sustainable aesthetics is just the surface of the problem at the center of which is the mentally and emotionally mutilated, frightening and frightened individual unable to embrace and assert his freedom, unable to believe that he could be the creator and the bearer of change I think it is the most destructive and lasting effect of mode which, unfortunately, is passed on to the next generations."
